"instilation complete" and i clicked show details and it siad this: Ok, i checked out the adobe site again, and i fiddled around on my laptop again and found the folder they were talking about, i clicked on set to administrator or somthign like that and a lilttle box popped up said preparing to install etc etc Windows 10 update won’t affect any third-party programs and Chrome. i dont know what to do its getting frustrating, and i dont understand what they are telling me to do on the adobe web site any help at all would be great. Microsoft is believed to be working on an automatic Windows 10 update that will kill off Adobe Flash Player completely in 2021. so i tried to download it with Fire Fox and it worked *or so i thought* I can use the web site on FF but not on IE? why, what did i do wrong, i pulled up my "add or remove a program" and i see it plain as day "adobe flash 10.whatever plugin" and when i tried to re-download it the red box with the f and the green bar underneath popped up and the "instillation complete" message came up. I use a website that like wont function unless you have flash, and for the last few days when i use IE the website wont work. Also, when I test flash on, what happens is nothing comes up, just the text with "adobe flash player is just the standard." and then when I click above it, a grey bar appears, but I can't right click it, so I'm assuming the test failed.Ok for the past little while, I've been getting the "adobe has known problems with this version of Windows Vista click here to fix the problem" well i clickedĪnd have had nothing but problems ever since. I do have shockwave for director installed as well, 11.5.9.615. I don't have any activeX plugins (not sure if this matters). What I would try if it was happening on my system is to update the device drivers for your graphics/video/display adapter. When I had IE7 shockwave worked fine I could play shockwave games no problem but I just installed Internet explorer 8 and now all I see is a box with a red X where the shockwave player should be, and when I go to the shockwave installer website all I see is another blank square with a red X. Shockwave Flash 10.1.85.3 is enabled, I don't see any other versions of flash in that page. Now, I just downloaded flash for IE, and it works fine.Īny help or steps would be much appreciated. When I go to sites, I believe it detects I have flash, as it doesn't ask me to download it, but it just blanks out, I can't right click where the flash player should be. I have the addon enabled, and the latest version of java, and I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it. ![]() I have searched through some of the forums and attempted some of the things said in them, but I still cannot figure out how to get my flash player on Firefox to work. ![]()
