![]() When you add a Scope to your model, click the Try Time Scope button: ![]() In R2015a, you have the option to try a new type of Scope, the Simulink Time Scope. If you want to specify multiple rates in your model, use the Rate Transition block. We hope this will make managing sample times simpler. ![]() If you open the dialog of many basic math blocks, you will notice that something is gone when compared to previous releases. Simplification of Sample Time Specification This block can be very useful to reset the states of blocks that do not have reset ports, like the transfer function: In R2015a, if there is an algebraic loop in your model, use (bdroot) to highlight the blocks and signals involved in the loop.įor the regular readers, you might remember a post from last year titled What about a Resettable Subsystem?. Until now, it could be difficult to identify blocks in a algebraic loop. I have to admit, this feature should have been implemented a long time ago! I have seen many models where Annotations or empty Subsystems were used to group blocks in a model. Click play and begin to use those new controls and displays. When you drop one of those in your model, double-click on it to associate it with any signal. In R2015a, you will find a new Dashboard section in the Simulink Library Browser with many controls and displays: Then run the installer from the file "MyAppinstaller_web" located in the "for_redistribution" folder and follow any prompts (you must be connected to the internet to run the installer).MATLAB R2015a just went live, let's explore some of the new features. To install the standalone applications, first download the installer for the latest version from the Files page and extract the files from the zip folder. To use the supplemental video conversion Matlab script (TVD_2_MAT.m) you will require EchoWave II software (Telemed, Lithuania). ![]() ![]() UltraTrack has been most extensively tested with release 2015a but should work with prior releases, although we have experienced some graphics issues running UltraTrack with R2014a and b. To run the source code you will require Matlab software including the Image Processing Toolbox. Versions for use on MacOS and Windows platforms are available on the Files page of the website. The standalone versions require Matlab Runtime 8.5 to be installed and this program is packaged in the installers for UltraTrack. Standalone versions of the application were created with the Matlab compiler in Matlab R2015a. ![]()
